Domestication Empty Domestication

Post by Starfire Sat Apr 10, 2010 7:00 pm

-The female Neko had been walking around the planet when she began overhearing conversations of co-existing with a creature that was known to hate the Polarian people. She quickly pulled aside one of the people she had overheard and began questioning them.- “Have we found a way to co-exist with the creatures?” -The person replied softly.- “Yes, but the only way it can be done is to domesticate them. However, there is a Champion Creature that will prevent us from doing such. Our first attempt to capture the creatures without placing them under the conditioning was met with failure because of this creature. We must defend against it somehow.” -The female Neko quickly had an idea that she thought was brilliant.-
-She moved to the leader of the Polarian people to discuss it with them.- “ I would like to propose an idea to you for domesticating the creatures whilst being able to defend against this Champion creature.” -She could see the ears perk on the leader as she had caught his attention before he spoke.- “What do you propose, Madame?” -Her voice feminine and soft as she moved closer so she was able to discuss her plans in a hushed tone.- “My plan is to capture them then I will spend time training them to fight until they are adults. By the time we face this Champion Creature, they will be able to defend against it, and win. If he shows up before they are trained I will be able to at least injure him enough to send him back. Before he comes the next time the training should be complete.” -The leader spoke, his voice sounding excited when he did so.- “ I am in full agreement with your plan and I wish you luck carrying it out. I will provide you with some military in case you find yourself needing them when you capture a group of the creatures.” -She thanked him for his generosity before leaving the building.-
-With the extra soldiers close on her heels she began making her way to where the creatures were. On her way she thought of different plans but could not pick one until she got there because she had no idea of the layout of her destination. She saw the building come into view and moved her form against the shadow of a rock, motioning for the soldiers to do the same as she whispered.- “ We will wait until it is dark before moving in to complete this part of the mission.” -She slumped down against the rock, her back against it as she remained hidden by its shadow. It would be dark in only a few hours, she could wait that long.-
-As darkness approached them and they were not visible she had changed into black clothing, the soldiers doing this as well. They were now nearly invisible unless they were being looked for. Knowing the creatures guarding the younger creatures felt safe where they were she figured they wouldn’t notice her and the soldiers until they were right in front of them. They inched closer to the building to see what they had to deal with in getting to the offspring. She surveyed the area and saw a back door, in order to get to the door she would have to jump onto the roof without being seen. She knew this was easy enough for her to do but wasn’t sure of the soldiers. She turned around to face them and motioned her plans to them with her hands. If she had spoken they would have been heard. The soldiers all agreed and insisted they could do it so she waited until the guarding creatures all had their backs turned before swiftly running to the side of the building. Her form pressed tightly against it and she leaped up onto the roof, all of this done in total silence. She watched as the soldiers each took turns jumping after her, they were indeed silent.-
-She looked around the roof and saw a small vent that seemed like they could all fit through it, wondering if this was a better route than the back door she laid flat upon the roof and moved silently to the vent. She looked downwards through the vent and realized that they were right above the area with the young offspring. She smiled some to herself and removed the vent without making a single noise. She motioned for the soldiers to follow her as she lowered herself down, one soldier holding her feet so that she went down head first to make sure the coast was clear. Indeed it was clear so she flipped herself over to lower herself all the way down to the floor. She landed swiftly on her feet and waited as the soldiers came down behind her. They each took hold of one of the infants and made their escape towards the back door, unable to go back the way they came. Their forms all hugged the wall and they opened the door upon reaching it. Running straight into the darkness and out of sight. Once safe they began the long journey back home with the somewhat whiny infants.-
-Upon arrival back home she went to the leader who had told her there was a room in the castle that she could train without being disturbed. It lead out to a secluded open area where they could do outdoor training as well. She was much grateful for having this as she made her way with the infants. She had asked the soldiers to stay through the training period, she told them it was in case the Champion Creature showed up but really it was because she would need living forms for the infants to practice on further in the training. She laughed at the thought as she entered into the room. She opened the windows so the fresh air would flow in from the night. It had taken them an entire day to make the trip back home but she was glad they were there. She laughed once more knowing the creatures would have known the infants were missing by now. She needed to start the training immediately.-
-The leader had made sure the castle was secluded and put a spell over it that made it invisible to the naked eye. She smiled softy knowing it would take years for the creature to find it. Enough time to train but no time to spare. She immediately began training the infants. Because they were so young she could not do much but she began to show them the kind ways of the Polarian people to gain their trust. She fed and clothed the infants, making sure they were comfortable until they hit an age where she could start to train them. She told them the story of how they came to this place and why, they had all well understood and agreed to train with her and help her in the final battle. She spoke to them in a soothing motherly tone.- “I promise you will be ready by the time it comes, and whilst I have control of it I will not let any harm befall any of you.” -She smiled softly and handed them each a Kendo Stick.-
-She watched as their still tiny hands clasped around the Kendo Sticks. She began by showing them different fighting stances. Each of them picking their preferred stance. She then showed them how to swiftly move the stick between their hands. This was a vital lesson to know and they each grasped it easily. She then began showing them how to be faster when attacking. Having each of them one by one run at a tree and hit it. She watched them and tweaked the ones that needed some help. A few of them were great the first run and needed no work. She then called one of the soldiers over to her and ordered him to stand still so she could show them fighting moves. Though his eyes said he was afraid he did as ordered.- “Don’t worry.” -She spoke softly.- “I will land the blows lightly, it will not hurt to much, I promise.” -His eyes softened as she began the training.-
-She started be teaching them a punching attack. She began to explain to them what it was.- “This is called Wolf Fang Fist. You make a fist and send it towards your opponents face, like so.” -She sent her fist for the face of the soldier in front of her, stopping before it hit him she would further explain.- “Just before connecting you scream out the name of the attack which makes your fist more powerful so that when it connects it will move your opponent back a few steps.” -She demonstrated once more, her fist went flying for the face of the soldier. She yelled out “ Wolf Fang Fist!” before connecting the attack, though she made sure it was weaker it still knocked the soldier off balance slightly. He recovered quickly and she had each one of the offspring do the same with the soldier closest to them. She stood back watching the event and smiled as the children grasped it easily, though she felt sorry for the soldiers because the children showed them no mercy.-
“Great job guys, you did perfectly.” -She stated before moving in front of the soldier she had demonstrated on previously.- “Ready for another?” -She asked. He nodded some and she smiled softly before turning to face the young ones once more.- “The one is called Cranium Crush, unlike the other it is a foot attack. You raise your leg to the air and towards the skull of the opponent, your body should be slanted sideways. If you so choose you may do a little spin to get more force into the kick. Allow me to demonstrate once more.” -She spun her form in a circle and sent her foot for the skull of the soldier, she yelled out “Cranium Crush!” before her foot stopped inches from the soldiers skull. She didn’t dare allow this one to connect on him because her force would have knocked him out even if she took it lightly. Fortunately for the other soldiers the children didn’t have that kind of force yet. She stepped back some before speaking once more. “Now you try.” -She watched yet again as they followed her example, some of the soldiers being knocked back, others falling flat on their ass.-
-She laughed softly at the soldiers that had fallen over before speaking.- “I think that is enough training for the day, time to get some food and rest.” -She watched as the children shuffled to their beds, she allowed them to eat there. After eating they fell asleep and so did she. Upon waking up the next day she began training them more. The attacks were smaller and simpler, she trained them for a few more years until they became young adults. She shook her head some as she looked at them. “My my you all grew up so fast.” -She smiled softly as she watched them train on the soldiers that seemed to be getting tired of being beaten on. She laughed softly before speaking to them. “I think you may go now, we shouldn’t need you anymore, they have trained long eno--” -Her sentence trailed off as a loud crash came from down the hall, the leader soon after entering the room, more like crashing into it. Speaking through struggled breaths “It is time. The champion creature has arrived and is in the building.” -She took a deep breath before turning to the children.- “Time to show this thing what you are made of young ones.”
-She moved her form swiftly from the room, grabbing a sword from the hands of a soldier, thanking him as she continued to run down the hall. The offspring close on her heels as she arrived in the main room, a large circular room with plenty of space to maneuver. This was where she found the beast. Immediately moving to attack it she would have underestimated its power and it had seen her, it’s large fist coming at her to knock her backwards a few feet. She shook it off and went at it again, she sent her sword for its arm and smirked some as it pierced the creature. Her smile widened as the younger ones were quickly diminishing the creature. She jumped up and backwards sending a kick off the skull of the creature, it had shaken its head to try and regain itself but was unable to. Drowsy the creature had fallen into a wall sending it crashing to the ground. The children quickly finished it off to an immovable point. She moved towards the creature and sent her sword straight down into the back of its head. It pierced the creature easily and cleanly so the children would not have to see the disgust of a gruesome death. She had the soldiers removed the creatures dead body.-
-Turning to the young ones she spoke to them softly.- “You have all done a wonderful job and you are free to go as you wish.” -One of them had ran to her and clung to her waist.- “I want to stay here. Can I stay here with you?” -She looked around at the others, realizing they all wanted to stay, her heart swelled some at the though, knowing that their offspring would no longer be brought up to hate the Polarian people but to love them.- “Of course you may stay little ones, I would be honored.” -She smiled some as they rejoiced and had gone outside to play, she turned to the leader and nodded softly, that one movement saying it all without her mouth moving.-
